Science, maths and engineering students at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) now have the chance to develop their teaching and communication skills, with a new unit offered in 2 Semester 2015.

Learning Science through Teaching is the first unit offered in a proposed new QUT minor in science and maths education, which is collaboratively designed and delivered by the Faculty of Education and the Science and Engineering Faculty.

The new minor is planned to be offered over 2015-17, as part of the Step Up project and will inform other new science and maths education pathways being developed by partner universities.
